Dear friend
Kritya is a foundation established to widen the space of global literature, arts and culture through translation, publication, performance, interaction and interchange of literary ideas among various languages and cultures.
We have been working since May 2005 as an international, bilingual (Hindi and English) web journal of poetry – www.kritya.in and we have gained international readership and appreciation. Kritya was formally registered as a trust in January 2007.
Through the web journal, it has presented poetry of different languages like Latin, English, French, Spanish, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Persian, Urdu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kashmiri, Gujarati, Assamese, Bengali, Hindi etc. We have successfully brought out special issues for poetry of Italian, English(Australian), Telugu(Andhra Pradesh-India) and Dogari ( Jammu and Kashmir ) poetry.
We have organized two festivals of poetry till date, the first one in Trivandrum and the other in Jammu . Reports about the festivals can be seen in these links :

Now as a foundation, we want to organize an International festival of Artists, littérateurs, theatre and cultural activists by inviting talents from each area.
The festival will take place between June and August 2007. The dates will be decided after considering the availability of the artists.
Kritya will be honored to welcome you to Kerala ( India ) to participate in the festival.
As we are not supported till now, the travel expenditure cannot be borne by us. However, we will provide you with accommodation, food and local sightseeing facilities in Trivandrum .
